Job Summary :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Manager, Personnel Support Programs (PSP) at 3CFFTS in Southport, MB , the Bar Supervisor plans, organizes, staffs and directs all bar(s) activities and events according to established policies and regulations. She/He monitors and orders liquor and bar(s’) supplies, ensures compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and provides administrative support related to functions at the facility. She/He prepares reports on cash/inventory transactions such as daily sales reports (DSR), and makes bank deposits. The Bar Supervisor also trains and supervises employees.


College diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food Management, or related field AND some years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage sector


High school diploma AND several years of experience in beverage sector or a related field


Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Manitoba (18)

Responsible beverage service certification, an asset

Valid driver’s license, an asset

Language Requirement: English mandatory

Experience Requirements:

· In bar operations

· In budget administration

· In cash handling

· In inventory control

· In personnel administration

· In event planning and organizing

· In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing
