ZE PowerGroup Inc. is a software company based in Richmond, BC. We are looking for a part-time Janitor/Custodian to join our maintenance team. The custodian is responsible for performing janitorial and custodial duties, maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties in the morning to ensure that the building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. We will provide training, a great work environment, and reward you for your hard work. The position will be for approximately 15 – 20 hours a week, starting at 7:30 AM. The work schedule may change on occasion depending on office need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the facility and surroundings. The office building includes washrooms, kitchens, lunch areas, meeting rooms, as well as work stations. This will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, washing and vacuuming
• Clean and disinfect the washrooms, toilet seats, hand dryers, and fixtures
• Assist in office supply inventory management
• Empty the garbage baskets and dispose garbage along with recyclable material in separate dumpsters

YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
• Flexibility in schedule
• Must be bondable with a clear criminal record
• Previous custodial experience is considered a plus
