We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst Tier 1/Desktop Support Technician! The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a world class customer experience to our valued customers. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be to maintain and troubleshoot user desktops and peripherals, mobile devices, printers and multifunction devices onsite for one customer 20 hours per week and to provide remote support to our full customer base 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support
  • Maintain and troubleshoot user desktops and peripherals, mobile devices, printers and multi-function devices
  • Receive incoming calls for customer support and conduct triage
  • Adhere to policies, processes and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Presentable, professional image
  • 1+ years of PC hardware/software support experience
  • 1+ years of desktop Microsoft operating systems and desktop applications experience
  • Experience in evaluating, installing, testing, maintaining and supporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, phones, mobile devices, printers and multi-function devices, operating systems and applications
  • Strong PC hardware experience including Apple MAC
  • Experience with remote access troubleshooting
  • Experience in print server management
  • Basic experience with networking, servers and telecom support
  • Experience with support and troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft Office and common desktop applications
  • Experience with Active Directory, VPN, storage and back up technology
  • Working knowledge of VMWare, Exchange, SQL would be an asset
  • A+ certification, ITIL certification
  • Ability to lift, carry and install heavy IT equipment including desktops, printers, workstations, server racks and UPS
  • Must be detail oriented and self motivated with the ability to prioritize, problem solve, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Strong customer service, communication and team-collaboration skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Class 5 driver’s license with clear driving record
