This is a TEMPORARY Accounts Payable Clerk position, and will support the accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter vendor invoices for Receiving, Finished Goods and Operations daily.
  • Investigate any price discrepancies
  • Responsible for bi-weekly cash requirements, preparation of payments (printing of cheques, EFT and ACH submission)
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Answer any vendor related questions
  • General office and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 2 years of A/P experience
  • Previous experience using AccPac 5.6 is REQUIRED
  • Knowledge in relevant computer applications utilizing Excel and Word.
  • Strong administrative skills; must be detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision and function well in a team environment.

Required experience:

  • AccPac 5.6 and 2 years AP experience: 1 year
