Human Resources Advisor
WorleyParsons Edmonton – CoSyn

As our ideal candidate for this dynamic and rewarding role, your responsibilities will consist of the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a true business partner to Business Leaders and Stakeholders, providing relevant and timely coaching and advice, challenging and influencing behaviors and acting as a business ally.
  • Work with leaders to encourage and foster a high performing culture.
  • Coach leaders on key areas such as: Talent Attraction/Retention/Development, performance management, HR governance application/interpretation, compensation, disability management, employee relations, and leadership & team effectiveness.
  • Develop and drive implementation of organization-wide programs and initiatives to meet the organizational needs.
  • Provide expert support in the annual performance management process, and provide training as necessary.
  • Ensure annual training plan is in place, identifying, assessing and planning the development of key organizational competencies.
  • Maintain and foster business relationships to enable collaboration within all levels of the organization ensuring a customer centric approach.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Human Resources and Employee Relations policies and processes.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through responsiveness, follow-up, and thorough communications.

. Technical and Industry Experience :

  • Minimum 3-5 years extensive experience as a generalist in several Human Resources functions
  • Key areas of expertize required – driving org change projects, talent attraction & retention, developing org capabilities and ensuring succession planning, driving engagement across all dimensions
  • Knowledge of relevant Provincial legislation
  • Project management and presentation skills
  • Conceptual thinking ability, and complex problem solving ability
  • HR certificate, diploma or degree accreditation; CHRP designation is an asset
  • Demonstrated competence in communication, developing effective business relationships, quality control, customer service, data manipulation and analysis and presentation and achieving results.
  • Excellent knowledge of HRIS systems, as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite of Tools, with the focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project.
