As an investigations operations analyst, you’ll have extensive experience managing disclosure packages and a thorough understanding of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Criminal Justice Branch. You’ll use Major Case Management (MCM) principles in your work and provide ongoing MCM software training and user support to the investigations team. You’ll also provide tactical and strategic data analysis to the director and manager of Investigations, and work in a team environment to assist with developing the initial structure of the investigation file.
What you’ll do
- establish appropriate business rules for each investigation
- participate in team meetings, scribe minutes, and input data
- analyze and chart investigational data using MCM software and maintain a system that monitors progress in all investigations
- produce disclosure packages for all investigations in accordance with the MOU with the Criminal Justice Branch
- compile and prepare statistical reports, provide tactical and strategic analysis of data, and assess incident trends
- provide technical support to investigators with respect to electronic disclosure
- determine and administer logistical requirements for major investigations, including command post set up, equipment and supply requirements, and technology needs for the investigation team
- process evidence, create timelines, track the status of investigations, and associated tasks
- work with the Critical Incident Response team to provide necessary information to deal with affected families of injured workers

Your experience and educational background
- a diploma in a related discipline (criminology, justice)
- a minimum of three years of work experience in an environment where investigations are handled
- experience producing disclosure packages for investigations
- experience using MCM methodology in investigations
