Our client is a winner in the heavy equipment industry. Decades of reliable service, great products, and the performance of an outstanding team have lead to outstanding growth in the company. The organization is now seeking an experienced Service Manager to join the team. In this role you will be an expert at labour bill out rates and inventory management. You are outstanding at mentoring and coaching service staff, and capable of effectively delegating work. Position requires exceptional budget and financial management skills and the ability to hit the bottom line for profitability in service while keeping the team happy and motivated. • Previous experience in leadhand/chargehand or service management role (heavy equipment dealership environment strongly preferred) -Expert level capability to bill out labour and control inventory in the name of profitability -Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) -Prior success in leading and managing a team -Red Seal HD mechanic is preferred. The company would like to find someone who has a background as a mechanic to maximize the amount of credibility and respect the incoming candidate will receive early on as possible amongst the technicians in the branch.
