Are you tired of looking for jobs every 6 months because the industry you work in goes up and down? Do you need a stable company to support your family and make sure you are taken care of long-term?

Our client has been about for decades. They provide heavy duty repair services on forklifts, skid steers, welding equipment, and to a lesser extent power generation equipment for clients in the oil and gas sector. They are looking for a red seal/journeyman heavy duty mechanic who can come in and help a team of 8 facilitate a maintenance schedule in whats mostly an indoor environment (occassionally you go out into the field, but probably 10-15% of the time). You will have a Mon-Fri day shift, mostly 40 hours a week but there is some overtime. Benefits are available right away. The wage is a hair below market rate for Edmonton area, but pretty close. The value is in the job stability, working conditions, and ability to plan your life. We all know there is plenty of money to be had all over Alberta, this opportunity is NOT for someone chasing the mighty dollar. But, if you are a licensed mechanic wanting the stability and a fair compensation with NO layoffs, this is for you.

Apply today if you meet the listed requirements.

  • Must be journeyman/red seal HD mechanic
  • Must have valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test
  • Interest and history repairing smaller scale heavy duty equipment (forklifts, skid steers, welding equipment)
  • Experience repairing generators in an asset

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
