Company is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team. Due to our recent expansion and new facility we can now accommodate the growth of our team.
WINMAR® provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle impacts, etc.
We are looking for a motivated, energetic, responsible, trustworthy individual to perform the duties of Branch Manager. This position is full time and you will be required to also perform the duties of Project Manager when required; including but not limited to, responding to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation schedule.
Xactimate training and experience in project management are essential for this position. Experience in Construction and Property Restoration an asset. Salary and commission is based on experience and expertise.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initial customer contact within 30 minutes of receiving assignment and first customer visit within 24 hours of receiving the assignment.
  • Dispatch emergency crews to complete emergency assignments.
  • Establish scope and standards of construction projects.
  • Estimate equipment, manpower, cost of project, and materials required to accomplish each project using industry approved software (i.e. Xactimate).
  • Establishment of job priority based on general guidelines.
  • Inspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standards.
  • Ensure all company protocol is followed.
  • Hands on with some emergency work may be required.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Able to interact, and effectively communicate (written and oral).
  • Proficiency in the use of common computer software packages (i.e.: MS Office).
  • Proficient in Xactimate.
  • Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods and codes
  • Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project manager or General Manager in the Restoration industry is essential. Any Certification with the IICRC is an asset, but not required.
