We are currently looking for IT Operations Manager to
join our Toronto Location.
Position Overview
We are looking for an individual who would be able to
lead Wind Infrastructure architecture initiatives along
with a group of talented professionals. The successful
candidate will have excellent communication and
interpersonal skills and will be able to clearly define
and communicate strategies to all levels of management.
In addition the successful candidate will participate in
design evaluations and facilitate recommendations to
deliver reliable solutions. The successful candidate
will also provide mentorship and leadership to other
team members. Applicant will be a team player and will
operate well within small to medium team environments.
Experience

• Proficiency in designing and implementing Windows

Server based systems

• Experience with highly available environments

utilizing clustering and failover technologies

• Experience supporting LAN / WAN networks, including

routing and switching in a Cisco environment. Experience
with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 Load Balancers would be an
asset.

• Knowledge of Call Center Telephony infrastructure

(Cisco or Avaya) would be an asset.

• Support a team of technical staff, responsible for

planning, provisioning, and maintaining IT
infrastructure in a 24x7x365 highly available
environment focused on seamless delivery of various
business applications

• Highly developed troubleshooting and problem solving

skills in diverse and complex environments

• Solid understanding of enterprise storage solutions

(HP, Hitachi)

• Solid technical mentoring skills
• Experience in developing and implementing Business

Continuity solutions

• Experience with HP blade systems and rack mounted

servers

• Solid technical writing skills including documentation

of processes and procedures

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

and in a team environment

• Demonstrated experience in delivering Cloud services

and managing 3rd party support organizations

• Gather and analyse system trend data, business,

employee, and project driven growth factors in the
proactive planning and provisioning of infrastructure
capacity

• Actively participate with vendors and industry groups

to maintain a high level of knowledge of the state and
direction of the technology environment

• Participate in the planning and selection of new

software/hardware required by new projects

• Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
