The Wilderness Committee is a grassroots, citizen-funded organization working to protect Canada’s wildlife and wild places. We are looking for passionate, progressive folks to join our team.
We are currently accepting applications for our Door-to-door Canvasser position. Are you passionate about environmental justice and feel strongly about social causes and movements? Are you an excellent communicator and a people person with strong relationship building skills? Able to find humour in the face of adversity? You will be a perfect addition to our team of fun, dedicated canvassers!
We seek team members that reflect the diversity of the wider community in which we all live. Ability to speak a second language is a bonus. Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Canvass Field manager position is also available for those with a valid Class 5 driver’s licence and some experience leading a team. In addition to canvassing, the Field Manager will also be responsible for driving duties and leading the canvass team during a shift. Full time hours are Monday to Thursday from 4:30 to 10:00 pm.
