Applications are being accepted for a temporary position of Manager of Long Term Care Services with Western Health at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing, NL. Reporting to the Regional Director of Long Term Care, the Manager of Long Term Care will be accountable for providing leadership in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating program activities.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the key skills, behaviours, abilities and knowledge as outlined in the five domains of the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The candidate will be a nurse registered with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and have Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Five years of experience in the care of the older adult, dementia care and management experience is preferred. Candidates will have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative leadership style, organizational, communication and decision-making skills, as well as an ability to function in a diverse and changing environment.
*A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.

Hours of Work: 70 Hours per pay period
0800-1600, 0830-1630 Hours; Monday to Friday. Flexible hours required.
Salary: $69,303.00 to $90,094.00 per Annum
