The Western Regional Health Authority currently requires a General Surgeon to work on a permanent full-time basis at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, Newfoundland.
The General Surgeon will be responsible for inpatient/outpatient General Surgery Services, elective and emergency surgeries and on call duties on a 1:2 rotation.
The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital is a 44 bed acute care hospital on the beautiful West Coast of Newfoundland and is located approximately one hour away from the Regional Referral Centre in Corner Brook.
Qualifications:
Duly registered General Surgeon Specialist with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador and meets the credentialing requirements of Western Health’s Discipline of Surgery.
Remuneration:
The Specialist Salary Scale ranges from $212,816.00 to $255,383.00 as outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement. The Department of Health and Community Services in accordance with Provincial Guidelines will officially determine a Physician’s step assignment.
