The CADD Engineering Technician is responsible for developing and issuing new and revised drawings, making any necessary changes to all related technical literature and providing drafting support to the design group.

Key Accountability :
Drafting support to design group

Technical writing

Development and maintenance of product manuals

Training new engineering employees in proper procedures (AutoCAD, QA, etc.)

Product technical support to other departments

Research and implement new software

Part Set-up/maintenance of the Engineering database

Provide production drawings to planning

Assist with prototyping

Liaison manuals with packaging cell

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :
A Community College Diploma in Drafting or Engineering Technoloy

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and publishing software

Strong communication and organization skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment

Strong team player and can work independently

2-d and 3-d drafting experience

2 to 5 years related experience
