The Program Coordinator performs duties to assess and process inquiries and application for all WeCloudData programs and meetups, including guiding and advising students on suitable programs and directing question to suitable department. WeCloudData is the leading data science and data engineering bootcamp and career service provider in Canada. Qualified candidate will be offered invaluable training on data science.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for application assessment and advisement, process all applications and maintain the database of potential students and enrolled students. The person will also be responsible for following up with potential students. In addition, the person will perform other related duties such as act as a primary contact for all questions and resources regarding course information from customers by phone, in-person, or through e-mail; communicate information to students regarding course information and enrollment; ensure the accuracy of pertinent sections of the academic calendar; and other duties as assigned by the manager.
To be successful in the role, we are seeking individuals who have the following qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced work environment involving multiple demands.
  • Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills in coordinating projects with multiple overlapping deadlines in an office setting with changing demands and frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrated strong interests Data Science Field.
  • Full command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of office systems and procedures, including proficiency in MS Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to serve a diverse range of people in a patient, pleasant, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with sensitive situations that call for the use of diplomacy and tact in the delivery of information and explanations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside regular office hours to accommodate employers and students.
