JOB DESCRIPTION Weatherford Canada Ltd. is currently looking for Fleet Advisor on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Nisku, AB and responsibilities include: Hours of Service * 100-200 sets of incoming logs each month by courier.

Need to be opened, ensure coversheet is attached and placed in shipping box, and shipped to DISA. * Review violation report and upload into driver files which then creates driving incidents into driver files. Support managers on violation questions. * Manage driver files to ensure mandatory training is current.

  • Manage falsification audits through DISA and support corrective actions in driver files. * eDOT System (driver file training for Admin/Managers) Carrier Profile * Pull CP from government once per month through the TRAVIS website. * Create driving incidents in driver files for drivers with convictions/Out of Service or requires attention defects * Manage all convictions to ensure compliance is attained. * Manage all NSC collisions to ensure compliance to CVSA requirements.
  • Pull collisions from WPTS once per month, upload preventable collisions into driver file Vehicle Maintenance Files * Ensure bases are keeping their vehicle files up to date/flag any deficiencies to Management/PL QHSSE * Assist PL’s in moving to electronic VMF. Insurance * Ensure all required documents are submitted to Fleet Safety/Insurance Adjuster * Communicate with managers Document exchanges with adjuster * Maintain Canadian Insurance Claim files * on status of claims/vehicle repairs Permits/Licenses * Yearly renewal of NSC Permits/Licenses/TDG * Ensure we meet permit conditions throughout the year Compliance Tasks * NSC/COR Audit stewardship and support * Registries administration for ISN, Complyworks etc. * Statistical analysis of QHSE data * Coaching/mentoring/training all levels of the organization – Compliance related topics * Facility visits/audits to ensure compliance to internal/external requirement/standards. * Incident support QUALIFICATIONS * Fleet industry experience and/or vehicle knowledge an asset * 2-3 years related experience * Experience in the following areas required – knowledge of Journey Management, Permits/Licenses, Insurance & Insurance Claim Files, Vehicle Maintenance Files, Vehicle Logs, WCB claims, Incident investigation.
  • Able to generate reports and perform monthly audits * Training Managers/employees at various locations/bases as required * Excellent communication skills both verbal written * Strong attention to detail to compile and analyze statistical data * Self-confident individual, able to work independently and on own initiative as well as part of a team * Ability to effectively multi-task and manage high volume work flow * Proactive approach to problem solving and building strong working relationships * Prioritizing skills to address multiple and conflicting tasks * Proficiency in the applications of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint * Team building skills and customer-focused approach * Education – minimum of grade 12 diploma or equivalent * Must have valid driver’s license and a clean abstract Essential Skills * Ability to handle large projects from start to completion * Task planning and organizing * Problem Solving * Analytical skills to compile data and summarize * Decision making * Interest in continuous learning with desire to take on evolving and more challenging demands
