This position holds a supportive role for the Manager performing duties such as clerical, technical, administrative and communication support. A strong background working for a Board of Directors would be a positive contribution to the position.
Candidate must have a strong, comprehensive understanding new media and internet marketing to assist in the development and execution of a successful social media plan including daily/weekly posts to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The position also requires updating member content on various social media sites to ensure all members events and specials are featured.
Candidate is required to assist the Manager in scheduling all Board and sub committee meeting which includes tasks such as preparing agendas, taking and typing minutes and distributing minutes in a timely manner.
Candidate will be required to attend various events within the WWR area to for the purposes of imagery taking and blogging. This position requires the use of a vehicle for the purposes of travelling throughout the WWR area.
Candidate must reside within 50 kilometers of the WWR area and/or be agreeable to relocate within a certain time period.
