We are looking for a marketing assistant for Warshaw Maison, a kitchen supply and home decor store located next to Atwater Market. The marketing assistant will create online marketing materials for Warshaw Maison, including but not limited to: weekly online newsletters using MailChimp, social media posts and updates to the store’s website.

In addition, the candidate will work closely with the store’s owner to redesign the website and to create an online store.

The candidate must be bilingual and be able to write copy in both English and French.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience with web design and graphic design and who can create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.

The position is part-time, 16-24 hours per week.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills
• Bilingual (excellent written English and French)
• Aptitude with social media (mainly Facebook)
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work independently and take initiative as needed
• Online marketing experience is an asset
• Experience with web design and HTML is an asset
• Experience with MailChimp is an asset
• Experience with graphic design is an asset
