Wanuskewin Heritage Park is accepting applications for a temporary full time Cook from May through August reporting to the Executive Chef. The position will include the following accountabilities:

Ensures a welcoming environment for all Wanuskewin visitors and guests with a focus on service excellence
Ensures all hygienic and food safety standards are being followed in preparation of food.
Ensures proper food presentation is displayed with all restaurant and catering menu items.
Accurately tracks all sales into the park POS/database
Provides support around all client service needs.
Ensures restaurant and banquet rooms are adequately stocked with supplies
Ensures proper food safety standards are being met or exceeded
Responsible for all standard restaurant and banquet duties
Standard opening and closing procedures of the facility, restaurant and till system in an accountable and appropriate manner.
Completes scheduled cleaning and light preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment.
Provides recommendations to enhance menu items and changes.
Assists in monthly inventory counts of food and beverage.
Fosters a positive working relationship among the various departments across the organization.
Collaborates across the organization to ensure quality client oriented services are provided that meet the overall organizational direction.
