Ensures effective communication and responds to Customer questions about Frozen Food/Dairy merchandise, and provides requested assistance, such as verifying whether a specific Frozen Food/Dairy product is in stock. Ensures a safe and clean environment by maintaining safety standards, such as securing merchandise on risers and displays; and performs maintenance and cleaning, including keeping floors free from debris as required by the Frozen Food/Dairy Department.

Position Responsibilities
Provides quality Customer service by effectively communicating with Customers to answer
questions; locates and retrieves merchandise; and provides requested assistance concerning the types of merchandise carried, basic and descriptive information, product uses, prices, and the in-
stock status of Frozen Food/Dairy merchandise, which involves: communicating effectively with
Customers and Associates;

Effectively resolving Customer concerns,

Physically and visually locating merchandise for Customers, involving moving throughout the
facility, grasping, reaching overhead and below knee level, bending, stooping, and lifting; and obtaining and demonstrating knowledge of Frozen Food/Dairy Department merchandise.

Accurately and efficiently stocks merchandise in the Frozen Food/Dairy Department; sets up
product displays, regularly pulling and bringing merchandise forward in displays and side-counters; and zones and cleans department, which involve maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including the potential use of chemicals;

Placing items in their correct location, requiring reaching overhead and below knee level, and bending, twisting, or stooping;

Reading, understanding, and visually verifying small print in various media;

Organizing, labeling, and pricing merchandise in accordance with Company guidelines, and using
fine motor skills to grasp, turn, and manipulate labeling and pricing equipment;

While moving within the department over uneven surfaces and moving up and down a ladder,
constantly lifting, sorting, carrying, and placing merchandise and supplies of varying sizes weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lifting over 50 pounds with team lifting;

Adhering to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures, including continuous cleaning during the assembly and stocking of merchandise;

Understanding, effectively following, and enforcing all Company polices and procedures, involving food quality assurance, product rotation, expiration dates, quality control, and the use of chemicals to ensure quality and freshness.

Assist management with the supervision of the Frozen Food/Dairy Department, which involves
assisting management with the mentoring, teaching, assigning duties, recognizing, supervising and communicating with Hourly Associates appropriately and efficiently.

Qualifications
Accurately communicating, reading, writing, and entering data in various media. Ability to adapt to and work effectively in various parts of the facility. Ability to complete mathematical computations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to develop and motivate Associates. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with Customers, Associates, and Suppliers. Ability to interpret financial and performance reports. Ability to learn more about merchandise and utilize product information to assist Customers. Ability to order, stock, and display merchandise in accordance with Company guidelines. Ability to prioritize work assignment and complete duties while responding to requests from Customers. Ability to read, write, and understand printed materials. Knowledge of and ability to apply Company and department policies and procedures. Knowledge of and proficiency with scanning, pricing, and stocking equipment.
