Coordinates and participates in projects of diverse scope and complexity. As the Business Analyst for Warehouse Systems, you’ll be the subject matter expert for the eCommerce warehouse management system (WMS). You’ll collaborate with business units and provide technical solutions to meet the business needs as it relates to the WMS. You’ll help troubleshoot issues and provide paths to resolution, as well as developing requirements for the ongoing development of this product. In addition, you’ll conduct quality assurance as changes are made to this system to ensure all functionality is maintained and that the system design meets business process requirements.

Position Responsibilities
1. Lead investigation into defects and errors experienced with the WMS solution
2. Manage a testing process to maintain quality & performance standards in the software solution
3. Conduct and/or participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements and in the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information
4. Use detailed knowledge of application features and functions to assess scope and impact of business needs
5. Utilize disciplined development methodology for continuous evolution and optimization for the WMS solution
6. Actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and support
7. Analyzes and defines efficient, cost effective solutions that support business processes and functional requirements
8. Strategically leverage Walmart global learning and resources to reduce time to market and improve return

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: Technical/Business School
Minimum Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years
– Subject matter expertise with Manhattan Associate’s WMOS, Labour Management & SCI Reporting Tool
– Advanced knowledge of SQL for the purpose of investigating and correcting issues within WMOS as well as creating business reports through SCI
– Understanding of designing, mapping, usage and troubleshooting of system integration messages
– Understanding of warehouse business flows and ability to develop IT solutions that support operational effectiveness
– Able to facilitate issue resolution with multiple software vendor partners
– Experience and knowledge of Linux, MS Windows desktops and server, VMware
– Knowledge and troubleshooting skills for typical warehouse equipment such as access points, wireless devices and printers
– Proficient in the use of MS Excel
– Experience with Data extraction and Report tools (SQL, AS/400 Query, Crystal Reports, etc.)
– Expertise interfacing WMS technologies and application to back office systems/ERP
