Provides good customer service by ensuring all fashion racks are merchandised correctly and safely according to the current floorplan, that merchandise flows from the stockroom daily. Assists in filling fashion basics.

Position Responsibilities

Provides excellent customer service through: Ensures that all departments are fully stocked with merchandise and are ready for business Merchandises stock according to floor plans, following rack rules Understands importance of apparel merchandise being processed in a timely manner. Assists in maintaining fashion basics including repackaging when necessary. Maintains operational standards by: Reviewing 14-day maximum for fashion apparel in backroom. Understanding and execution of the Rack Rules and fashion floor plans Processes apparel quickly and efficiently. Sort apparel merchandise by FIFO (first in, first out) guidelines (this means the first merchandise in, is the first merchandise out). Sending all damaged garments to the Claims area for processing. Ensuring all garments have a react ticket. Test scanning to ensure the price on the react ticket is correct, if different due to a price adjustment place new retail price onto the react ticket Ensure apparel area maintained to standard with season code tags. Ensure bin standards are maintained in inventory prep condition for case merchandise. Ensuring backroom is kept neat and clean. Understanding how to use the handheld terminal properly. Practices safe work habits by: Stretching/warming-up prior to shift. Following emergency and safety procedures. Following Health and Safety guidelines. Cleaning spills immediately. Keeping the backroom areas N.C.O. and free of fixtures and unnecessary debris. Maintaining unblocked and unlocked exits. Using proper lifting techniques. Stable stacking of merchandise. Demonstrates initiative/dependability by: Working well on his/her own and requiring little supervision and follow-up. Being flexible based on the freight flow/demand. Works as a team player Supports co-workers with tasks at hand Additional Responsibilities Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
