Job Summary
The Workforce Management Analyst is responsible for the implementation and management of the Workforce Management (WFM) process, including but not limited to; the identification of workforce cycling, forecasting, staff planning, schedule rotation development & deployment, real time staffing and patient coordination, operational reporting and analysis of operational data. This role will work collaboratively with regional & site managers in the development and execution of WFM programming in order to respond to the unique needs of the local workforce and staffing demograghics. Additionally, as a contributing member of the VON leadership team, you will contribute to the overall financial health of the organization using evidence based metrics. This is a newly established role within both the region and the organization and travel is expected. The ideal candidate is looking for a management leadership career track.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with Regional and Site Managers, oversees all aspects of the WFM process including but not limited to:

Staff Forecasting and planning
Schedule recommendations and preparation
Labour Workforce Monitoring (internal and external)
Statistical analysis
Corporate reporting

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
Post-Secondary diploma/degree in a Business Administration, with a major in statistics preferred
1-3 years of experience creating and maintaining rotations and /or schedules within the healthcare setting
Demonstrated advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of Procura and Cell Track an asset
Experience with Business Intelligence applications an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Attention to detail and well organized
Demonstrated above average problem-solving, analytical, time management, and decision-making skills in a fast paced team environment
Demonstrated decision support analysis and project management skills
The ability to guide team members involved in standardization and systems administration
Preference toward consistent approaches to practice; with an ability to discuss, advise, coordinate and document processes
Well developed team skills and a collaborative work style with all organizational groups, including front line staff, functional & leadership teams, bargaining units and external local municipal committees (Ad Hoc & standing).
The ability to assist in interpreting and implementing new business functionality to achieve measurable outcomes
Bilingual French/English an asset
Current criminal background check will be required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Attention to Detail; Lift and carry using appropriate lifting techniques; Bend, push, pull, grip, reach, kneel, crouch using good body mechanics; Walk sit, stand, climb stairs; Repetitive fine hand movements.
