Who are you?

You’re an allstar video producer who’s a huge music fan and eats, sleeps, and breathes video. You just like to record and edit cool videos!

This is a useful and more importantly, fun opportunity to apply hands-on camera operating and video editing experience in a music start-up. This is a cool volunteer opportunity that’s great perfect for personal and career development!. Our office is in an awesome shared space in a central location in Toronto close to public transportation (King & Bathurst)

Who are we?

OPJAM (AKA ‘OperationJam’) is the ultimate hybrid of social media and music discovery, putting the spotlight on up and coming musicians, and providing a platform for users, promoters and musicians to connect with each other. We’re looking for a creative and diligent intern to help us launch a new online video series. It’s an unpaid internship with the possibility for employment after 8 weeks.

Your skills:

HAVE YOUR OWN VIDEO EQUIPMENT to produce HD video (audio equipment is a plus)
You understand online video strategy and can help craft videos that get attention online
You can set up a scrappy in-house studio that allows for quick production of live action tutorials, tips or announcement videos (including optimal lighting and sound)
You understand storytelling and can work with our content team on script development
You can shoot and do basic video production
