We have a full –time position available for a hands-on Production Supervisor for our manufacturing plant operation. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of staff to meet production targets and quality standards. Responsibilities will include training staff in production methods, safety, policies and procedures, as well as the prioritization of work flow and resolution of health and safety issues.


  • Maintain day-to-day production activities, monitor and prioritize work flow for staff
  • Ensure production schedules are met even if it takes helping out staff to complete
  • Provide technical support and/or troubleshooting to machine operators
  • Prepare and set up material for the shift’s production team
  • Ensure the highest quality standards at all times
  • Engage and motivate staff assisting them in their day to day activities to promote and create a healthy productive working environment
  • Assist in prioritizing the repair of all equipment so as to minimize the impact to production and risk to the production targets
  • Work with management to provide a productive, inclusive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Experienced Lead Hand or Supervisory experience in a raw materials manufacturing environment
  • Must be a strong, confident, hands-on leader
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to perform under pressure in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Must possess strong problem solving skills and be able to think outside the box
  • Participative yet assertive management style; lead by personal example, coaching and teamwork
  • Forklift license an asset
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislative requirements an asset
