Primary work location: Burnaby Telus side or Client’s side: TELUS

Work remotely (if yes, how many days per week): Remote 4 days per week is likely. 1 day at the Burnaby Office

Required skills: • Good communication skills – written and verbal – in both technical and non-technical environments. • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills. • Managing projects and priorities in a changing and challenging environment • Familiar with administration of Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 in Active Directory environments • Ability to learn technical concepts and new technologies quickly. • Familiar with basic networking – Layer 3 topologies, vLANs • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills working within cross-Functional teams Takes initiative, self-directed • Ability to work independently within a defined scope of responsibility. • Analytical, problem solving, decision making, risk analysis, prioritization and status reporting skills. • Creative and innovative thinker.www.monster

Leads and coordinates the operational support and implementation activities for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) service offerings encompassing heterogeneous platforms

Provide 24×7 Tier 4 support for a variety of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions supported by the Business Transformation team.

Develop, implement and support core EMR solutions running 24×7 on a Microsoft based platform. Provide strategic input into operational activities and support the architecture in line with TELUS standards
