Provide daily classroom and/or computer lab instruction, as well as curriculum development as required. The focus of instruction is a combination of theoretical study and practical application.

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning, and student success. Successful candidates will participate in activities outside the classroom including student support and department committees.
Degree in an ABT related field from an appropriately accredited institution, or a suitable combination of both formal training and recent, relevant adult teaching experience in fields directly related to ABT. Provincial Instructor’s Diploma, or equivalent, (if in progress, maximum of two years to complete). Demonstrated experience in meeting determined outcomes and ABT evaluation standards. Proven ability in classroom management – positive interpersonal skills in working with students, with a sensitivity to the needs of a wide variety of adult students returning to education. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is essential. Willingness and ability to work effectively as part of a team comprised of instructors, administrators, support staff and students. Demonstrated current experience with computer applications and office procedures.
Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or Paralegal Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution. Must have recent legal work experience, preferably as a member of a legal office support staff. Working knowledge/practical experience in general legal office procedures, civil litigation procedures, and or family law and divorce procedures, and or conveyancing. Thorough working/teaching knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft 2013 Word, Excel, Outlook).
Three to five years current teaching experience in an ABT or Office Administration field in a post-secondary setting. Bachelor of Education or Masters of Educations Degree.
