The BC Pavilion Corporation is seeking a talented individual to join our team, in the role of Junior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager with PavCo, this role will assist in the development of management reports. The main focus will be on populating and formatting report definitions in financial and statistical reports. Reporting templates are provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform data extraction, population and reporting writing within excel-based Ungerboeck EBMS report writing module.
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and validation of Management Reports for multiple locations as follows:
- Monthly departmental financial and statistical reports
- 12-month financial reports – actual and budget
- Event-based financial and statistical reports
- Labor report templates
- Apply general knowledge and understanding of GL structures and the flow of financial information during the report development process.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- College/University education towards certificate/diploma program in Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Business Admin.
- 2 or more years of progressive accounting or financial analysis is considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Advanced Formulas, Linking, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc)
- Experience with EBMS software is considered an asset

Salary: $22.00 /hour
