Participating youth must:

The primary duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting an audit of the GNH website and performing website upgrade
  • Redesign of GNH website based on approved website audit recommendation
  • Developing a social media campaign and proposing a social media strategy/posting guidelines focused on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter
  • Coordination of online postings for the Attic thrift store (online sales)
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Development of an organizational Communications Strategy
  • Supporting and participating on the Fundraising Committes
  • Member of the organizational planning team
  • Assist with the Nourish Project
  • Assist the Executive Director with the production of organizational promotional material
  • Social Media Outreach Activities
  • Provide recommendations and implementation plan to support maximizing the organizational use of Office 365


  • Experience working with WordPress
  • Comfort working with Hootsuite, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter
  • Be respectful
  • Sound work ethic
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. A second language is a strong asset.
  • Comfort delivering workshops
  • Sense of humour

HOURS : Full-time (35 hours/week)
SALARY : $15/h

Internship provided via the Vancouver Community Network Youth Internship Program and funded under the Youth Employment Strategy by HSRDC and Industry Canada.
