Manager Business Analysis- 18 Month Work Assignment

With exceptional listening and compassion skills, and the ability to translate Vancity’s Good Money™ brand promise to our members, you will bring 4-6 years of related experience. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining a business area financial performance, executing business strategies and the coordination of forecasting, planning, and analytical support.

The Manager Business Analysis reports directly into the Director Business Performance.

Key areas of accountability for this role are:

  • Establish an account manager relationship with senior leaders of the respective accountability areas, providing financial reporting and analysis to enable informed decision making.
  • Establish and monitor key revenue (where applicable) and expense drivers on an ongoing basis and provide forecasting, planning, and analytical support through the development of the aggregate financial plan.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date view of the business’ financial performance and provide analysis and advice to the enterprise on initiatives.
  • Act in a concierge role to broker other services from the Finance division to senior leaders through identification of needs and opportunities.

  • The competencies for this position would typically be acquired through an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance or accounting designation of equivalent work experience.


  • 4 to 6 years financial industry experience.
