Sports & Recreation Services is one of the most diverse units on campus combining varsity Athletics, Recreation activities and Facilities operations into one unit working to contribute to the universities goals and objectives of offering the best student experience. Sport and Recreation Services offers a wide variety of services and experiences for Western students and faculty, alumni, the London community, and other stakeholder groups. Personal Trainer will provide enthusiastic, courteous service to clients using the Western Campus Recreation facility. The incumbent will educate and enforce policies regarding the safe and proper use of equipment and facility. They will develop, document and implement exercise programs on an individual basis according to the needs and goals of the client. The Personal Trainer will instruct clients on basic exercise physiology and inform them as to proper lifting and exercise techniques. Providing all the necessary information, techniques, and proper procedures for exercising and helping clients stay active and healthy.
