International Partnership Analyst

Analyzes the business processes of the Faculty of Medicine’s internationalization activities and supports the development and implementation of technology solutions to enhance international partnerships and Office of Internationalization operations.
Essential Qualifications University degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum five years of experience supporting business units and their IT needs
Knowledge of computing principles and an understanding of business processes and cycles
Demonstrated analytical skills in order to convert business requirements into technical specifications and to communicate technical concepts in layperson terms
Knowledge of project management methods and practices
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset
Understanding of the business culture in China through practical experience considered an asset
Experience working in an international environment
Ability to work independently and efficiently, exercise good judgement, prioritize work and perform well under pressure
Availability to work overtime and outside regular hours during peak periods
Sensitivity to cultural, social and political issues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
Ability to proactively keep abreast of new and emerging technologies
Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
