Performs a variety of administrative, communications, liaison and hospitality tasks. Acts as a resource person and performs secretarial and financial management tasks at the Centre for Catalysis Research and Innovation (CCRI). Coordinates activities related to scientific grants and communicates with industry and academic clients. Interprets and applies the Universitys policies and procedures for all client groups in an appropriate and knowledgeable manner.
Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of financial administration and office technologies, normally acquired through postsecondary training, or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of chemistry or related scientific fields (in order to understand the activities and challenges of the Centre) considered an asset
Good knowledge of research funding agencies
Experience organizing and coordinating meetings, trips and events
Experience using computer systems and software, such as Banner or a similar financial system, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, electronic organizers, databases, email and the Internet
Experience producing reports
Customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Experience writing in both official languages and excellent knowledge of French and English grammar and spelling
Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)

Contract of approximately 24 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring. This position is excluded from all union accreditation units.
