A little bit about the job…

The Onsite Administrator is United Safety’s liaison between the customer on site, the senior USL representative and head office for non-operational and financial issues. This casual position is for our Spring Turnaround season which is anticipated to begin in March with all training to take place prior to this. In this role, you will work with the onsite leadership team to ensure all required project documentation is completed and submitted to the head office accurately and on time, always. Consistently demonstrating your exceptional organizational skills and advanced computer capabilities will ensure you successfully work in the demanding, fast-paced environments you will be exposed to. As there are time sensitive moments and varying stressors associated with this position, it is critical you for to implement effective stress and time management skills to ensure you complete each day’s work effectively and efficiently.

A little bit about you…

You will have two or more years of administrative experience and “boots on the ground” field experience would be an asset. You have mastered PC usage and possess the ability to grasp new concepts with ease. . You are confident that your organizational skills and your ability to organize others are one of your greatest strengths.

As the ideal candidate, you have experience in…

  • 2 years of administrative/billing experience
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and advanced skills in Excel, preferred
  • Experience with travel logistics
  • Able to prepare accurate reports such as daily summary reports, daily manpower reports, etc.
  • Must be able to problem solve, including identifying, assessing, and correcting problems
  • Must be able to keep accurate documentation, preventing problem reoccurrence
  • Organize and file all project documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); must be a team player
  • Willingness to travel to field locations away from home for several weeks at a time
  • Must pass physical demands testing, as required, and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Current H2S Alive, First Aid and CSTS tickets are a requirement

This is a temporary position with no company benefits and the average length of projects ranges from 2 to 12 weeks in duration.
