IT Support Technician – Store systems

The IT Support team – Automobile Point of sales (POS) systems, is actually looking for (1) technician. In this capacity, you will be called to fix problems relating to TAMS, the management tool for our automobile points of sales (600) across Canada. You will also need to fix any other problem not related to TAMS, namely technical problems relating to the in-store computer equipment. You will have to diagnose Internet-related problems as well as printing issues, you will have to place service calls with a maintenance provider whenever an equipment breakage happens. We are looking for versatile persons who have good computer knowledge and, ideally, some experience in supporting points of sales. You must also be perfectly bilingual (80% of the support is in English) and, moreover, you must show that you genuinely care about customer service. If you have the appropriate background and if you have experience, ideally in the distribution field, you are the person we are looking for!

Requirements :
External candidate:

Professional or College school degree in office automation, Information Systems or any other pertinent field;
Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience in IT Support, with a minimum supporting points of sales systems, ideally in the distribution sector;
For internal purposes, knowledge of the TAMS system (6 months);
Knowledge of SQL (important asset);
Knowledge of PCs and Windows;
Very good command of French and English, both oral and written;
Be customer-oriented, autonomous, good with interpersonal communication and patient;
Available to work on working shifts that could slightly vary.

Internal candidate:

Possess a very good knowledge of the store operations and TAMS;
Must be at ease with information technology;
Very good command of French and English, both oral and written;
Be customer-oriented;
Available to work on working shifts that could slightly vary.
