Job Summary / Purpose The administrative assistant / administrative assistant provides administrative support and support to the client service group in various Canadian jurisdictions. Main duties and responsibilities

  • Manages daily billing according to internal policies
  • Collaborates with the accounting department team during the end of the month, the quarter and the end of the year. (Other Analyzes, Reports)
  • Participates in the process of time and payroll management (time sheets, overtime report, vacation management)
  • Is responsible for the issuance of purchase orders and the evaluation of tenders from suppliers
  • Participates in the improvement and simplification of internal procedures
  • Collaborates with the commercial operations team to manage external customer systems
  • Collaborates with the Business Operations team to add new customers
  • Maintains and / or operates various databases and internal computer systems (Oracle, FSP, GECARS) * Performs special functions and other tasks as required

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Work experience of three to five years in an office environment or with the public
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts (selling price, costs, margin / profit)
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to manage competing priorities in tight deadlines with attention to detail * Flawless organizational and efficiency skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience in all Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma
  • Bilingual (French and English) Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle software or database is an advantage
  • Clear, concise and articulate communication skills – verbal, written and listening
  • Teamwork – able to take on specialized tasks
  • Maintains a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and with external clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
  • Excellent knowledge with MS Office Excel (macros, PivotTable)
  • DEC in accounting or certificate
