Description:

Marketing Analyst, Channel Go-To-Market Position Overview: The Marketing Analyst role requires a candidate with a positive attitude and analytical mindset. Among other attributes, this candidate must possess agility, tenacity, and a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be working amongst a team of Go-to-Market (GTM) managers who support the planning, coordinating and implementation of marketing programs in three key sales channels: Client’s Corporate Stores, authorized Dealers and/or third-party National Retailers. Responsibilities:

  • You will monitor the sales results of Client’s seven home services (Optik TV, Satellite TV, Pik TV, High Speed Internet, Smart Hub, Home Phone, and Wireless Home Phone) across the three sales channels, and prepare regular performance updates to the rest of the GTM team.
  • You will interpret data and build ad hoc reports for GTM team members that will aid in program proposals or business cases that they are presenting to the Client leadership team.
  • You will provide ongoing reporting support and maintenance of regular reporting that is used for tracking business results at a store-/sales rep-/and product-level.
  • You will partner with stakeholders in accounting and finance to provide category reporting on financial spend, and provide updates on various retail metrics including “cost per acquisition” and “productivity by store/sales rep”.
  • You will assist with program enablement efforts by supporting the Sr. Marketing Manager, Channel Enablement in developing required tools to track deliverables and project/program status.
  • You will be required to provide additional support to other members on the GTM team during high-volume sales periods.

Required Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of technology and the consumer electronics industry.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian telecommunications industry, as well as TV and Internet service providers in Western Canada.
  • An understanding of wireless and wireline (IPTV, internet) services; broadband networks; and fibre optic technology.
  • Familiarity with basic office/business programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite with “intermediate-level” comfort with Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets with the ability to quickly manipulate data sources to provide executive-level summaries.
  • Familiarity/experience with DOMO data visualization platform is an asset, but not required.

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

  • University Degree in Business (Marketing preferred)

Required Experience:

  • 1 year of corporate head office experience in a Marketing capacity (or equivalent experience).
