Description:

As the Executive Receptionist at our headquarter building, TELUS Gardens, in downtown Vancouver, you play a big role as the ambassador for TELUS. You represent our brand in every interaction with customers, guests and team members.

The leader for this position is the Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

YOU will:
Strengthen our brand by providing a friendly and professional experience as you greet callers and welcome customers, guests, and team members to the executive floor
Keep with pride a polished reception area
Provide administrative support to the Office of the CEO and Executive Assistants
Maintain office supplies, tracking, ordering and processing expenses
Engage the appropriate team to address issues from a customer call or email
Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Liaise with the external property management company, TELUS Corporate Concierge, and TELUS Security to ensure appropriate access to the executive floor
Initiate requests with our real estate or security team and external building maintenance prime to ensure any facility issues are addressed
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:

Are proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role
Having post-secondary education in office administration or administrative assistant program would be a bonus.

Must Have Skills: 1. Professional and friendly communications, required to greet visitors/guests and incoming calls to exec floor (this is not a high volume switchboard desk)

2. Strong organizational skills – manage office supplies and incoming/outgoing deliveries, ensure exec floor facilities are in working order and working with Security and Real Estate when required

3. Admin experience and Word, Excel & Outlook; processing expenses, assisting Executive Assistants on the floor as when needed

Nice to Have: SAP Knowledge, but they can teach
