Job Overview:

  • Responsible for the planning, analysis and development of projects and activities – the Integrity Management Plans – necessary to implement the TEML Integrity Management
  • Responsible for the daily activities necessary to manage integrity threats, including inspections, data analysis and verifications, assessments, and recommendations for mitigative

Position Responsibilities

  • Assess loss of containment threats, and develop the annual budget and Integrity Management Plans appropriate for mitigation of the resultant
  • Actively manage, provide oversight and continuously improve assigned Integrity Management Plans, which may include: chemical inhibition, cathodic protection, depth of cover, geohazards, inline inspection, pipeline repair, drop-in replacement, pipeline replacement, facility piping, small diameter piping, pressure vessels, sumps/underground storage tanks, and above grade storage
  • Provide timely technical support and analysis necessary to support operational or project execution
  • Provide clear and concise communication of the requirements associated with integrity
  • Complete quality assurance activities in support of the maintenance and continuous improvement of the TEML Integrity Management
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation
  • Manage process changes through an appropriate management of change process and incorporate changes into the Integrity Management Plans as
  • Provide emergency response support as required, and support investigation of loss of containment events. Incorporate learnings into the Integrity Management

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan and Manitoba
  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including prior pipeline and facility integrity
  • Familiarity with CSA Z662, National Energy Board Onshore Pipeline Regulations, and Saskatchewan and Manitoba Provincial legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to develop internal strategies and apply industry standards and best practices to make sound recommendations that appropriately manage risk
  • NACE, API, CSA and other related courses are an asset
