The TriNav Group of Companies is seeking an Office Administrator to support TriNav Fisheries Consultants and Ocean Yacht Sales, as well as provide back-up support to other administrative and operational functions within the TriNav Group of Companies. The individual will manage databases, input vessel listings, complete purchase and sale agreements, handle information requests, answer phone calls, greet clients and assist consultants/sales brokers in their daily activities. This position will be based at the company’s Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office.

Duties include:

  • Organize and maintain filing and database systems
  • Manage calendars, organize and schedule external and internal meetings, teleconferences and networking events
  • Open, maintain and close client files
  • Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as listing agreements, purchase and sale agreements and engagement agreements
  • Track expense reports
  • Organize travel
  • Produce accurate work formatting documents, inputting data, editing, copying, scanning and faxing documents


  • Post-secondary graduate with a Diploma in Office Administration and/or Paralegal Education
  • Have a proactive work style and analytical skills, with ability to read, research, review, verify and route correspondence, reports and legal documents
  • Have excellent client service skills, with a proven record of building effective relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Have a strong working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and clean abstract
