Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Customer Care and Logistic representative will plan, organize, manage and control the day to day activities of your assigned accounts from receiving the order to delivery. He will coordinate and prepare the necessary Customs Documents when needed, in order to making sure there is smooth transition for International shipments.
Role & Responsibilities:
-Receive orders, process it in ERP and follow-up with customers
-People skilled, taking care of customer is your priority
-Knowledge of Ocean, Land and Air experience for the Import and Export of Canadian and Intl shipments an advantage.
-Immediate responses is required for all incoming requests regarding Transport needs on behalf of Transtex.
-Communicate effectively all information regarding the needs of your customers to Director of sales in charge of the account
-Offer guidance and supervision, if required, to all transportation related requests and order management
-Negotiate and confirm current rates if needed and establish short and long terms relationships with all Transport Companies.
-Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory delivery ( no damages, time and date met)
-Prepare documents for all export shipments and local deliveries, maintaining all rules and regulations.
-Making sure all invoicing information is correctly sent with no delays.
-Help and work with other Customer Service personnel when needed.
-Maintain a constant and respectful communication with all Transtex employees and associates.
-Catalogue all transport requests, on a daily basis.
-Communicate, manage and handle all claims with other transport carriers, when needed.
- College degree completed.
- 3 to 5 Years of experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Bilingual is a must (French/English).
- Capable of adapting with different Software.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic-team environment.
- Must be organized and able to communicate easily.
