Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding, is currently looking for an Inventory Coordinator, to work with their organization on a full-time, on-going basis at their transit accessible location in Delta. Paying at a rate of $15-17/hour, this position would be responsible for tracking and verifying freight locations and ensuring that all procedures are followed thoroughly.

Duties of the Inventory Coordinator:

  • Writing up the daily dock check for all accounts as required.
  • Checking freight for accurate paperwork and case quantities in the inventory slots and floor and performing slot checks.
  • Apprising quality assurance of any non-compliant fright issues discovered on the dock.
  • Verifying all freight polls, transfers, movement from racking and orders shipping to destinations.

Skills and competencies of the ideal candidate:

  • Must have good computer skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in an inventory control environment is an asset
