General Accountability
Approximately 27,000 paid staff and volunteers will receive a uniform at the Uniform Distribution and Accreditation Centre (UDAC), prior to starting their journey as a member of the Games-time workforce team for the Toronto 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games. The primary accountability of all members of the Uniforms Team is to ensure smooth and efficient processes for the distribution of uniforms, supported by positive customer service – not only for the 27,000 workforce members, but also to the 160 volunteers who will be supporting the Uniforms operations.

Key Job Responsibilities
Uniform Management
Support receipt of all uniform components (144,000+ units), working with Logistics team to ensure appropriate staging of goods in warehouse and distribution areas
Lead inventory control checks
Ensure all areas of Uniform operations are maintained appropriately in a tidy manner and are sufficiently stocked
Volunteer Management
Schedule and roster 160 uniform volunteers, including the scheduling of regular breaks
Manage the Workforce Check-In process
Lead briefings of Uniform staff at the beginning of every shift
Lead and role model volunteer motivation and recognition
Responsible for tracking and distributing shift gifts
Support volunteers through potential challenges with client
Training
Finalize training materials, including system set-up and presentations, and support delivery of training for Uniform supervisors and crew
Client Management
Review session capacities and fulfillment prior to the opening of the UDAC to ensure Uniform workforce is adequately resourced
Facilitate conflict resolution, as required
Provide uniform support to other TO2015 functional areas and venue teams prior to and during Games-time

Educational/Technical Requirements
Related post-secondary education or a combination of education and relevant experience
Experience in retail operations, including supervision of staff
Experience in multi-port Games/Event industry highly desirable
Experience working with and engaging volunteers
Advanced proficiency level with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Personal Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a desire to please others are key assets
High attention to detail is required
Ability to learn quickly – unique system and processes are essential tools of this role
Results oriented and highly motivated; thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to easily set priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision
Confidence to lead a large team, including volunteers
Adeptness with math is desired
Driver’s license preferred
