As a Floor Manager/Resort Host at Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa you are expected to provide exemplary customer service to all guests at all times while maintaining and exceeding the service standards set by the resort management team. The responsibilities of the Floor Manager/Resort Host is to ensure all departments have the resources they require to deliver exceptional guest service at all times and exceed expectations. This role is the custodian of all the little details in all guest service areas that will make this resort exceptional.

? Operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the company

? Exceed guest expectations by providing personalized, efficient and courteous customer service

? Show dedication to making every guest feel welcome in our surroundings

? Ensure that all departments have adequate resources at all times

? Act as the key communicator of all resort requirement and operation activities to all department managers and business partners

? Supervision and quality assurance of housekeeping at the resort

? Provide final resolution to guest service issues

? Provide hands on assistance in all areas as needs dictate

? Ensure that business systems are setup for each operating day

? Keep all area Managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance

? Provide in-depth knowledge of products and services offered

? Act as a point person to all guests

? Reports all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound) immediately to the appropriate custodian.

? High School Diploma

? 3 – 5 years experience within the hospitality industry

? Experience and a in PMS, POS and basic computer skill is a must

? Additional language skills are an asset

? Must be comfortable with making decisions quickly and under pressure

? Must possess excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills and be a team player

? Exceptional problem solving skills are a must

? Responsible and dependable with a poised and friendly attitude

? Must have attention to detail and the ability to multitask

? Must be flexible in regards to scheduling and working shifts

? Must be able to live and work in a remote setting


Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
