The Synergy Effect is the fast-growing online arm of Synergy CHC and is all about building businesses quickly using cutting edge influencer marketing. We work with some of the most influential people and biggest celebrities in the world, and use methods that are right at the forefront of both the marketing industry and digital space.

We’re on hunt for a Social Media Coordinator to join our fast paced, innovative and rapidly growing team here in Halifax. We’re big on interacting with our market through social means, especially on Instagram, and we’re after a creative genius with marketing experience to help introduce one of our new brands to social media.

The Role

• Social media management including strategy, content and copy
• Campaign strategy including generating and implementing ideas for broader marketing campaigns to run throughout all mediums as well as shorter term campaigns (ie sales, competitions on social media etc)
• Email marketing – strategy, design, copy, implementation
• Blog strategy – planning, working with bloggers to source content as well as generating your own

The Person

• Relevant experience in online marketing (+3yrs preferable)
• Knowledge about the supplement/fitness industry
• Understand of how social media and digital media works professionally
• Proven creative copy ability (send us past social accounts, blogs etc you’ve worked on or even your own personal account/s)
• Graphic design capabilities desired
• Readiness to learn and adapt in a young, fast growing team environment
• A “let’s get it done” attitude
