As the Recruitment Coordinator (6-Month Contract), the successful incumbent will be responsible for building strong relationships with the Hiring Managers in order to find the best candidates that suit The Source Culture while meeting the requirements for the position. You will partner with corporate clients to develop and implement cost effective, efficient, proactive and innovative strategies and methodologies which meet business needs in order to fill open positions.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with executives, hiring managers and HR business partners to understand current and future recruitment needs and to determine optimum sourcing strategies.
  • Establish, build and manage effective partnerships with external vendors, employment services, local colleges and universities, participates in job fairs to educate students and the community
  • Generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels, including: proactive. networking, direct sourcing and researching/initiating other channels as appropriate.
  • Assist with prescreens to assess candidates and making recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Educate, consult and transfer knowledge of staffing processes, diversity, interviewing skills and legislation to hiring managers throughout the interviewing process.

Skills we’re looking for.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a recruitment role within a fast-paced organization.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, preferably Human Resources Management, Business Management or Business Administration an asset.
  • Proven ability to network and source talent, provide labour market trends and manage. relationships with hiring managers and business partners. Ability to provide proactive and strategic approach to recruiting.
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
  • Results oriented, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and dedicated to the accomplishment of both team and individual objectives.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a definite asset.
