RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: *Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of business and industry representatives to promote and ensure successful participant job placement. *Develop participants’ resumes *Locate job openings for participants based on their individual skills and abilities. *Work with participants on an individual basis regarding their job search progress and activities. *Remain current on Winnipeg labour market trends and the most effective job search strategies, techniques and monitoring of marketplace trends. *Conduct necessary monitoring of participants during the job placement. *Complete reports and documentation on activities as required. *Attend meeting as required. QUALIFICATIONS: * Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience. *Minimum one year prior related work experience. *Experience connecting with Manitoba businesses and organizations and knowledge of labour market demands. *Experience with job placement. *Knowledge of immigrant and refugee youth employment needs and issues. *Excellent verbal and written public relations/communication skills. *Cross cultural experience and additional language an asset. The successful candidate must hold/have: *A Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle *Current Certification in First Aid/ CPR *Criminal Police Investigation check *Child Abuse Registry check Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour Job Location: Required education: Required experience: Required license or certification:
