We are looking for a dynamic individual who will participate on our team in the role of Donation Coordinator. The Donation Coordinator is essential in ensuring that all donations for The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers www.endcancer.ca, The Ride to Conquer Cancer www.conquercancer.ca are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Working in conjunction with a third-party financial processing company, the Donations Coordinator is responsible for the smooth processing of all donations including any exceptions, manual processing, and escalated phone calls from all coaches. You will also maintain and manage the participant/donor database, run reports and queries for data and operations purposes, and act as a technical resource for the operations team. This is a TEMPORARY role from April- July.

The role of the Donation Coach includes:

  • Ensuring timely and correct imports of donations into database
  • Reconciliation of errors in processing or attributing donations
  • Manual processing all donations as needed
  • Accounting for, reconciling and weekly deposits
  • Processing foreign currency
  • Providing customer service for all escalated donation and financial issues
  • Performing daily and weekly database maintenance
  • Manage bank charge-backs, refunds, duplicate transactions
  • Coordinating matching gift programs
  • Tax receipt modifications and updates
  • Expedite the daily mailings including registration kits and recruitment material
  • Provide training and understanding of donation issues and processes to coaches and guides
  • Assist and participate in the continuous donations training with Donations Coaches in corresponding offices
  • Will assist with answering of inbound calls as needed

To be effective in this role, it is important to have experience in working with Excel and Microsoft Office and have excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to details and have an ability to prioritize your work. Required experience:

  • Accounting, Administrative Experience : 2 years
