As a Service Provider for the Province of Manitoba The Property Registry’s main function is to provide certification of titles to land, maintain land records and provide reliable information of financial interests in personal property to the public. The Property Registry consists of two registries, the Land Titles Office and the Personal Property Registry. The Land Titles Office maintains all records of land ownership and survey plans, and The Personal Property Registry maintains all registrations under Personal Property legislation.

Land Titles Clerk (LT2) – Dauphin, MB

Full-time/term until March 31st, 2016

Salary: $34,700.00

The Opportunity:

As a Land Titles Clerk you will provide clerical support services to The Property Registry including the preparation of documents and data entry into computerized databases. Duties include filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail and operating microprint and copying equipment. Also you will assist the general public with Property Registry searches and registrations in person, by phone, by mail and by email.


You have previous experience providing customer service in an office setting and possess strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. You are comfortable with entering information into computerized databases and have familiarity reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving ability enable you to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment. Experience as a cashier, with point of sale processing or familiarity with Land Titles or the Personal Property Registry are definite assets. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and legal entitlement to work in Canada are conditions of employment.
