Hours: Full-time, maternity leave position

Salary: To be negotiated based on experience

The successful applicant must have

  • An undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy
  • A valid license to practice physiotherapy in Nova Scotia
  • Experience an asset

Position Summary

As a Physiotherapist, you are a key member of client care in an interdisciplinary team of clinical professionals. The Physioclinic is a multi-disciplinary facility with rehabilitation services in orthopedics, kinesiology, massage, sports therapy, work hardening and conditioning, case management and product sales. Our clinics also offer a broad scope of services in the injury management spectrum for employers, WCB and insurance companies. Physiotherapists are responsible for assessing client’s physical abilities and creating individualized treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function and alleviate pain.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering evaluative tests and procedures, planning physiotherapy programs, selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations, maintaining clinical and progress reports, as well as conferring with other health professionals.
